Mark Cain, 45, of Fern Hill, Dersingham, has been charged with murder following the death of GP Hannah Cain, Norfolk Police have said.
Dr Cain’s body was found at an address in Fern Hill in the early hours of October 4. Mark Cain was arrested and has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 7.
Victim identified as local GP
Subject to official identification, police have named the woman as 45-year-old Hannah Cain, who worked as a GP. She was known professionally as Dr Hannah Terry and was listed as a member of the practice team at Grimston Medical Centre.
Family support
Police say her family have asked for privacy and are being supported by specialist officers.
