A seven-year-old boy has died in hospital a week after a beach tragedy that claimed the lives of a mother and daughter.
Incident at West Mersea
Musa Ahmed was on a day trip to West Mersea, Essex, on 22 July when he and five relatives got into difficulty in the water. He was pulled from the water and airlifted to hospital, while Shelina Rahman, 41, and her daughter Sameeha Rahman, 15, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Musa died on Tuesday evening at the Royal London Hospital, Essex Police confirmed. His family said he died “in a state of ease and peace”.
