BA Crew Suspended After Drunken Flight Cancellation

British Airways flight BA254 from Barbados to London was cancelled after crew members allegedly engaged in a drinking session hours before departure, leaving up to 336 passengers stranded. Several crew members have been suspended pending an investigation.

Flight Cancellation Details

The flight was scheduled to depart Bridgetown at 4:25 PM local time on Sunday and arrive at London Heathrow at 6:15 AM on Monday. However, the airline cancelled the flight due to the crew's alleged intoxication.

According to The Press Association, a number of crew members have been suspended while the airline investigates the incident. The Sun reported that the crew had been involved in a “vodka and beer session” at an all-inclusive ocean-front hotel popular with honeymooners. The hotel has not been named.
