Kent Police have launched an urgent appeal for information after a woman was reportedly raped near a church in Maidstone. The incident came to light when officers received a report on Saturday stating that a woman had been assaulted by a man she encountered earlier that evening.

The alleged attack took place between 7pm and 10pm, during which the woman met the suspect at two separate locations. The first meeting occurred at a spot on the high street, while the second was near a church in the town centre. Police have cordoned off the area as part of their ongoing investigation.
