A murder investigation has been launched after 26-year-old Alisha Samuels died following a stabbing in Manchester. Officers were called to Dorking Avenue in the Newton Heath area of the city at approximately 2am on Thursday, October 15.

Arrests made and scene cordoned off

Several nearby streets, including Edmonton Road and Briscoe Lane, were cordoned off by police. Forensic tents were erected at the scene, and a murder investigation was subsequently launched. Three individuals have since been arrested in connection with Alisha's death.

Officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have appealed for anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward, reports the Liverpool Echo.
