A 27-year-old woman has been charged after a police officer was shot in the foot in Nottingham city centre.
Aisha Zaman, 27, of Collison Street, Hyson Green, was charged by Nottinghamshire Police with possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of that firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Remanded in Custody
Nottinghamshire Police also confirmed that Zaman has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
