A 40-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted child abduction after an alleged incident at a supermarket in Speke.
Merseyside Police were called to Morrisons on Off Penketh Drive shortly before 2pm on Thursday, November 5, following reports of the incident.
Arrest and Investigation
Officers attended the scene and arrested the woman, who is currently in custody. Police said witness and CCTV enquiries into the matter remain ongoing.
Pictures shared on social media show a large police presence outside the supermarket.
