Welsh man missing in Tenerife: police appeal

The family of Gerallt Davies, a 49-year-old man from North Wales, are desperately seeking answers after he went missing during a holiday in Tenerife. Davies was last seen on 25 June, and both local authorities and his loved ones have issued urgent appeals for information.

North Wales Police confirmed they are working closely with Spanish counterparts to locate Davies, who was staying in the popular tourist area of Playa de las Américas. His disappearance has left his family distraught, with his sister describing him as a "kind and caring" individual who wouldn’t vanish without reason.

Last Known Movements

Davies was last spotted near his accommodation in the early hours of 25 June. He had travelled to Tenerife alone, and his family became concerned when he failed to return messages or check in as usual.

Police and Family Appeal

North Wales Police have urged anyone with information to come forward, particularly those who may have seen Davies in the days leading up to his disappearance. His sister has also taken to social media, pleading for help from the public.

"We just want him home safe," she said. "If anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please reach out."

Ongoing Search Efforts

Spanish authorities are conducting searches in the area, with local media reporting that CCTV footage is being reviewed. The case has drawn attention from both British and Spanish communities, with many sharing appeals online.

Anyone with information is asked to contact North Wales Police or the local Guardia Civil in Tenerife.
