Crash on M4 Slip Road
The M4 Eastbound exit slip road at J34 is partially blocked with queueing traffic following a crash. Slow traffic is reported in the area.
A-Level Student Killed in Cardiff Crash
Tributes have been paid to Dominic Luke Bailey, an 18-year-old A-level student from Ely, Cardiff, who died at the scene of a collision on the A48, known as The Tumble, at around 8pm on Saturday. The crash involved a grey MG and a black Land Rover Defender. Two others—a 59-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man from Bonvilston, Vale of Glamorgan—were injured and remain in hospital.
Welsh Rugby Player Dies Suddenly
Ryan Jones, 32, known as 'Bonesy', died suddenly on Sunday. The dad-of-three from New Tredegar played for Hollybush RFC, refereed for Bargoed RFC's children's section, and coached at Pengam's football club. Hollybush RFC said: "It is with broken hearts that we share the news... Bonesy was more than a teammate. He was family, and our club will never be the same without him."
Major Search at Cefn Sidan Beach
A major search operation was launched overnight after reports of two people in distress at Cefn Sidan beach in Carmarthenshire. Dyfed-Powys Police and the coastguard are involved. A call at 9.50pm on Monday reported two individuals in dark clothing waving a torch near the water's edge. The multi-agency search continues, and officers urge anyone with information to come forward.
