Urgent Search For Missing Edinburgh Man Jack Mclennan

The search for a missing young man from Edinburgh has entered a third day, with Police Scotland issuing a renewed and urgent appeal for information. Jack Mclennan, 23, was last seen in the Slateford area of the city on Sunday evening, and concerns for his welfare are mounting.

Mr. Mclennan was last spotted at around 5.20 pm on Sunday, 15th September, but has not made contact with family or friends since—a disappearance described by authorities as being entirely out of character.

In a statement, Police Scotland provided a detailed description of Jack to aid the public in their search efforts. He is described as being approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, with short brown hair. When last seen, he was wearing a distinctive black t-shirt featuring the 'Superdry' logo, black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers.

Appeal for Public Assistance

Officers are conducting extensive enquiries and reviewing local CCTV footage, but the public's help is considered vital. A police spokesperson stated: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Jack’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him or who has any information on his whereabouts to please come forward."

They further added: "We would also ask Jack himself to please get in touch if he sees this appeal to let us know he is safe and well."
