Albert was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, navy Crocs, and white socks. Police have released this description and are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
In a statement, South Wales Police said: "Help us find Albert, 12, who is missing and there is concern for his welfare. He was last seen just before 3pm today (Thursday, July 16) in Trinity Street, Cardiff city centre. Officers are currently searching the city centre for him."
