An urgent search is underway in central London for a 12-year-old boy who has vanished from the Westminster area. Sebastian Saba was last seen on Monday morning, 8th July, and concerns for his welfare are growing.
The Metropolitan Police have issued a public appeal for information, releasing a description of the missing child. Sebastian was last spotted wearing his distinctive school uniform: a purple blazer with yellow lining, black trousers, and black shoes.
Details of the Disappearance
Sebastian was last seen in the vicinity of his school, Pimlico Academy on Lupus Street, at approximately 08:00 BST. He has not been seen or heard from since, and his failure to return home or make contact has been described by authorities as entirely out of character.
Officers from the Met's Central West Command Unit are leading the investigation. They are conducting extensive local enquiries, reviewing CCTV footage from the area, and urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
Appeal from the Police
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Sebastian's welfare and are appealing for the public's help to find him. If you have seen Sebastian, or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact us without delay. Even the smallest piece of information could be vital."
The police are specifically asking local residents and businesses in the Westminster and Pimlico areas to check their doorbell cameras, dashcams, or CCTV systems for any sign of the boy.
How to Help
Members of the public are urged to share the appeal on social media to widen its reach. Anyone who sees Sebastian or has information should call the police on 101, quoting the reference number CAD 3051/08Jul. In an emergency, or if he is seen at this moment, the public should dial 999.
