Four teenagers have been arrested after a man suffered a broken nose and ribs in an unprovoked daylight attack on a Tube station platform. Police are now appealing for witnesses to the assault, which took place at Colindale Underground station.
Officers were called to the scene at about 5.50pm on Monday, May 25. The victim was reportedly looking at a map on the platform when a train arrived and a group of youths got off. One of the group allegedly kicked the victim's heel as he passed them, and when he challenged them, the situation escalated with the group said to have punched and kicked him.
The group then left the station while members of the public administered first aid on the platform. The victim was taken to hospital, where he was found to have suffered a broken nose and broken ribs. British Transport Police responded and arrested three girls and a boy, all aged 15, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Now, British Transport Police have released images of three people they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. Anyone who recognises them is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using reference 563 of 25 May. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
