Sisters, 14 and 15, vanish days apart in Germany

Two sisters have gone missing from a small town in northern Germany within days of each other. Loyza Stoianovych, 14, disappeared from Güstrow on August 11, and two days later her sister Regina, 15, also vanished from their group home. Officers have been unable to track down the teenagers, who are from Ukraine and are believed to possibly be together.

Police delayed appeal due to frequent runaways

The sisters are reportedly known to be frequent runaways, which is why the police waited a week before issuing a public appeal for help. Loyza was last seen at approximately 1.30pm on August 11. She is 1.55 meters tall, slim, and has medium-length black hair. Regina disappeared at approximately 10:00 PM on August 13th. She is 1.65 meters tall, has an average build, and also has medium-length black hair.

Possible location and police statement

‘It cannot be ruled out that the two teenagers are traveling out of a sense of adventure and may be in the Berlin area,’ the police statement read. The appeal for information continues as officers search for the sisters.
