A married prison officer in New Jersey faces up to 15 years in prison after allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with an inmate, according to court documents. Jordan Pensak, 27, worked at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix before investigators seized her phone and uncovered a trove of explicit messages, photos, and videos.
Explicit exchanges detailed in court filings
The leaked filings reveal raunchy text exchanges between Pensak and the unnamed prisoner. In one August 2025 chat, the inmate wrote: "I'm getting you vibrating panties." Pensak responded by expressing her attraction to his "big man hands." Prosecutors claim the pair had been having sex in a prison office since 2024.
To avoid detection, the prisoner allegedly paid fellow inmates to act as lookouts during their encounters. The affair unraveled when federal investigators seized Pensak's phone, discovering over 100 sexually explicit messages, photos, and videos.
Defiant messages and pregnancy scares
Despite suspecting someone had reported them, Pensak remained defiant, messaging that "they can't prove nothing." By January 2026, she joked about a potential pregnancy, writing to a former inmate: "I'm 3 days late for my period you ready to be an uncle?" She added: "That ain't good for the investigation" and "If the baby black and my husband white and Korean?!"
In other texts, she complained about a close call when a lookout nearly walked in on them, saying the lookout "knocked on the door and opened it without us saying s*** and he almost seen d*** swanginnn".
Charges and consequences
Pensak's chats with friends further exposed the misconduct. When asked if the affair involved sex or contraband, she allegedly replied: "both." She admitted knowing she could face criminal charges, saying "Yes I know". In chats from February 2025 to May 2026, she revealed the pair would "go f***ed up at work, high [as f**k]."
By February 2026, during another pregnancy scare, she told a friend she wouldn't keep the baby because "that would make the investigation 1000x worse." She also messaged the inmate's family member, saying: "I kind of wish I was [pregnant] just to know it's possible. I know I couldn’t keep it. And to go through all that without him would be hard on me."
A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed Pensak has been placed on administrative leave. She has been charged with sexual abuse and released on bail. If convicted, she faces up to 15 years in prison.
