A 21-year-old man killed in a stabbing on Primrose Hill in north London has been named by police as Finbar Sullivan. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening during a fight at the popular viewpoint. Despite paramedics' efforts, Sullivan was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man, aged in his 20s, was found nearby on Regent's Park Road with knife wounds and was taken to hospital. Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, leading the investigation, said: 'Finbar's family have suffered a devastating loss and our thoughts are with them as they navigate this very challenging time.'
Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly those who may have captured footage on social media. The incident occurred in a busy public park, and officers are following several lines of inquiry. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Separately, police are investigating a double stabbing in Shadwell, east London, on Tuesday afternoon, where a man in his late 20s or early 30s was fatally injured. A second man, aged in his 50s, remains in hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams appealed for information from anyone in the area at the time.
