Police have released images of nine men they want to speak to following four separate incidents on the day of Arsenal's Premier League victory parade in Islington on May 31.
Incidents under investigation
The first incident involves a racially aggravated assault on a woman on Upper Street at around 2:30pm. The second is related to criminal damage to a car on Caledonian Road at 3:15pm. In the third, a woman was assaulted on Highbury Crescent at approximately 4:30pm.
The fourth incident occurred at 10:31pm at the King's Head pub on Upper Street, where two men sustained serious injuries. Police are looking to speak with six men in connection with this assault. None of the four incidents are believed to be connected.
Arrests and charges
On the day of the parade, officers made 29 arrests, including for stabbings and assaults. Twelve people have been charged with offences including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, assault on an emergency worker, and sexual assault.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Coster from the Metropolitan Police Service said: "These incidents occurred on a day when fans should have been able to enjoy celebrations safely with family and friends. Instead, we saw a small number of individuals engage in behaviour that put others at risk."
He added: "More than 500 officers were deployed across the event alongside specialist search and drone teams. Their presence helped ensure the vast majority of supporters were able to enjoy the celebrations safely."
Appeal for information
Coster continued: "While the event was largely safe and brought thousands of fans together to celebrate, we did see instances of disorder, anti-social behaviour and some violent incidents."
He urged: "If you recognise any of the men pictured, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch with us."
