Police Appeal for Information

In a Facebook post on July 1, 2026, GMP appealed for information: 'Officers are appealing for information regarding reports of a number of supporters entering the playing area and causing disorder at Crown Oil Stadium in Rochdale. This took place on Saturday 25 April in a game between Rochdale and York.'

The post added: 'Officers believe that these men may be able to assist in their enquiries. If you have any information please contact police on 101 or Live Chat quoting CRI/06PP/0007833/26.'
