Northumbria Police have launched a major search operation for 17-year-old Rebecca, who was reported missing from the Northumberland area and hasn't been seen since yesterday afternoon.
The teenager was last spotted in the countryside surrounding the village of Belsay, approximately 20 miles northwest of Newcastle upon Tyne. Authorities are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and have deployed multiple search teams to locate her.
Intensive Ground and Air Search Underway
Police search units, including specialist mountain rescue teams and dog units, are combing rural areas where Rebecca was last seen. The operation involves both ground searches and aerial reconnaissance to cover the challenging terrain.
"We are extremely worried about Rebecca and want to ensure she is safe and well," a police spokesperson stated. "We're appealing to anyone who may have seen her or has any information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately."
