Police probe Andrew's Balmoral Epstein stays

Police have launched a fresh investigation into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Balmoral stays with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell amid explosive claims women were trafficked to the Highland estate, the Express can reveal.

1999 Visit and Photos

Jeffrey Epstein visited Balmoral with Ghislaine Maxwell in 1999, reportedly on the invitation of the then-Prince Andrew. Photos of the couple on the estate were released at the trial of Maxwell in 2021.

A photo appears to show Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in the countryside near Balmoral, alongside Andrew. However, his identification has yet to be verified.

Historical Context

Court evidence photos also appear to show Ghislaine Maxwell with Jeffrey Epstein relaxing on the Balmoral Estate. The Balmoral Estate was bought by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria in 1853, with the new castle completed in 1856. Queen Victoria described Balmoral as "Heaven on Earth".

Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Edward and the then Prince Andrew were pictured at Balmoral in September 1972. The royals spent many summers in Balmoral.

The fresh probe adds to the ongoing scrutiny of Andrew's connections to Epstein and Maxwell, with the investigation now examining the alleged trafficking claims related to the estate.
