Mum missing for 11 days as daughter pleads for help

Kelly Rigby, 44, from Walton, Liverpool, has not been seen since leaving home to go to work in Warrington on Thursday, October 22. Her daughter Lois says the family is "out of our minds with worry" and fears her mum could be in a vulnerable state without medication.

Family's desperate appeal

In a Facebook appeal shared on November 1, Lois said Kelly had last been in contact with the family during a phone call on Saturday evening before all communication stopped. She wrote: "Someone must know were she is, I don’t think she is doing this alone."

Lois added that Kelly takes medication which she may now have been without for 11 days, potentially leaving her in a "very poor state of mind". She pleaded with anyone who had seen her mum, or knew where she might be, to come forward.

Possible sighting in Warrington

Lois also addressed Kelly directly, saying: "Mum if you can see this, even a video call to say you are ok, there’s nothing more than all of us want than for you to be home."

In a further update posted yesterday, Lois said the family had received information from a woman who believed Kelly was in Warrington town centre. She said the sighting suggested her mum could be in danger, adding that relatives were concerned about the person she was allegedly with.

Police appeal and description

Lois urged anyone in the area who might have information to get in touch, saying: "We are extremely worried". Merseyside Police launched an appeal, saying extensive enquiries were under way to find Kelly.

She is described as 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair. When last seen, she was wearing a black T-shirt with a 'Just Eat' logo, black leggings and a long black coat.

Police said Kelly is known to frequent Broadway, Clubmoor, Croxteth, East Prescot Road, Liverpool city centre and Warrington. Anyone who has seen Kelly or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Merseyside Police via @MerPolCC or by calling 101.
