Motorcyclist Dies Six Days After West Belfast Crash

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed that a 20-year-old motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle collision in west Belfast earlier this month. TJ Kennedy, from the Poleglass area, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, July 11, six days after the crash.

Collision Details

At approximately 6 pm on Sunday, July 5, police received a report of a collision involving a blue Volkswagen Touran and a silver Yamaha Tracer at the junction of Shaws Road and Greenan in west Belfast. Officers and colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene, and Mr Kennedy was taken to hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Investigation and Appeal

A spokesperson from the PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit said: "We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of what happened."
