Lisa Vidrios, a married police officer, resigned from the Metro Nashville Police Department after admitting to filming herself having sex with a fellow officer inside a school while children and staff were nearby. The revelation came from an Office of Professional Accountability report obtained by WKRN.com.
Incidents at Madison Middle School
Vidrios, then 37, served as a school resource officer at Madison Middle School in Tennessee. According to the report, she engaged in explicit sexual activity with another officer on at least four occasions inside the school in May 2025. Footage from her mobile phone showed the encounters on a sofa in her office while students were in the building and staff could be heard talking outside the door.
The report also stated that Vidrios filmed herself having sex inside the other officer's police vehicle on at least two occasions while on duty. One of these encounters occurred in the car park of a derelict hospital.
Background and Career
Vidrios served nine years in the US Marine Corps before joining the police force. She and her husband, also a police officer, relocated from San Diego to Nashville in 2022. They became the first married couple to graduate together from the Metro Nashville Police Training Academy. Vidrios was hand-picked to represent her graduating class and appeared in a promotional video highlighting her family's move to Nashville.
In the video, Vidrios said, "I came here to Nashville with my family, and my husband included, who is also now a member of the Metro Police Department with me. We have three children together – ages 6, 4, and 1 years old – and we love spending time as a family and doing everything we can throughout the city of Nashville."
Disciplinary Action and Resignation
The affair came to light in May 2025, the same month it began, according to investigators. Vidrios and her secret lover were immediately stripped of their duties and denied police access on May 26, 2025, when the department learned of the allegations. Vidrios agreed to a pre-investigative settlement for violations including conduct unbecoming of an officer and inappropriate sexual activity while on duty. She accepted a 30-day suspension and subsequently resigned from the force.
Her lover, who was not named in the report, had served with the MNPD for 18 years and was most recently assigned to the tactical operations section.
