Suspect Dragged from Car After Ploughing into Nightclub Crowd in Gravesend

Horrified clubbers and bouncers dragged a man from his 4x4 after he allegedly drove into a crowd outside Blake's nightclub in Gravesend, Kent, leaving at least 13 people injured. The incident occurred on Queen Street late Saturday night.

Dramatic footage shared on social media shows the suspect being pulled from the wrecked Suzuki Vitara, which had a completely smashed windscreen. Witnesses reported that the car ploughed into a marquee at the club, with some victims suffering broken bones. Police confirmed that none of the injuries are life-threatening or life-changing.

Kent Police stated that the crash is not being treated as terror-related. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is being questioned by detectives. The force believes the suspect was told to leave the nightclub following an earlier altercation.

Witness Richii Bunger, 19, described the scene as 'carnage,' saying the club was packed for a performance by British rapper Giggs. He recounted seeing a friend narrowly avoid being run over and a girl being completely run over. Emergency services arrived to find revellers spilling onto the street, with fights breaking out and people being arrested.

Police are working to establish the total number of victims, as several may have left the scene before authorities arrived. The club was evacuated, and many patrons were unable to retrieve their belongings from the cloakroom.
