A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a 21-year-old woman was discovered in a boatyard in west Wales, police have said.
Corinna Baker was found shortly after midday on Saturday at Netpool Boat Yard on the River Teifi in Cardigan, Ceredigion. Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed the arrest on Sunday and urged anyone who was in the area from around 9pm on Thursday to come forward with information.
In a statement released on Sunday, Baker's family said they were 'distraught at the loss of our beloved Corinna'. They added: 'She was much loved and she will be greatly missed by her whole family and all those who were blessed to have known her.'
The family asked for privacy to grieve. Detective Superintendent Wayne Bevan said: 'Our thoughts are with Corinna's family at this understandably tragic time,' adding that specially trained officers are supporting them.
