A man has died and two others have been injured following a triple stabbing in west London during the morning rush hour.
Emergency services, including paramedics and an air ambulance, attended the scene on Askew Road, Shepherd's Bush, at around 8.20am today (Tuesday). A police cordon and a blue forensic tent have been erected on the street as detectives investigate.
Victim pronounced dead at scene
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We took two patients to hospital, but sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a patient was pronounced dead at the scene."
A shocked local worker said she arrived at the scene to find the road completely locked down by emergency services. Speaking to the Telegraph, she said: "There were so many police and ambulances. It was a surprise because it is normally quite safe around here.
"It is the first time I have seen something like this. It is awful. I think it happened in front of the Ginger Pig butcher."
