A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon near the residence of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Norfolk Police confirmed that the arrest occurred in the village of Wolferton shortly after 7:30 PM on Wednesday, 6 May 2026. The action followed reports that Mr Mountbatten-Windsor had been threatened while walking his dogs, with a man allegedly behaving in an intimidating manner.
The individual was taken into custody on suspicion of committing a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon. He was transported to King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning and remains in police custody.
