A significant stretch of the M25 in Hertfordshire has been shut down following a serious collision involving a motorbike, leading to extensive traffic congestion this evening.

The anti-clockwise carriageway is closed between junction 23 (A1M, South Mimms) and junction 22 (St Albans), according to National Highways. All emergency services, including Hertfordshire Police, are at the scene. National Highways Traffic Officers are also present, managing traffic and providing assistance.
