The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office is reviewing new sexual assault allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, according to a spokesperson for District Attorney Nathan Hochman. The review follows investigations by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, each of which presented a separate case involving one victim in the fall of 2025.
The allegations stem from music producer Jonathan Hay, who claimed Combs sexually battered him in Los Angeles in 2020. The LAPD and LASD opened probes into the claims last November. Hay also alleged a forced fellatio incident in Florida in 2021, which involved CJ Wallace, son of the late Notorious B.I.G.
In California, sexual battery can be charged as a felony or misdemeanor. If felony charges are filed and Combs is convicted, he could face several years in prison. A misdemeanor conviction would carry a maximum sentence of six months. Combs is currently serving a four-year sentence in New Jersey after a New York jury found him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, with an appeal pending.
Combs' legal team has not commented on the latest review, though his civil attorney previously denied all allegations as "false and defamatory." The DA's office has not set a timeline for its decision.
