A 13-year-old girl has tragically died in hospital after being rescued from the River Wharfe in North Yorkshire. The incident occurred on Sunday evening when the teenager was reported missing near Burnsall in the Yorkshire Dales.
Rescue Efforts
Police were alerted to the disappearance at approximately 6:30 PM. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene. Members of the public also assisted in the rescue, pulling the girl from the water shortly after the report.
