GB News turned tense on Monday as host Nana Akua clashed with political commentator Jonathan Lis during a discussion on the UK's migration crisis.
Jonathan shut down Nigel Farage's calls to deploy the Navy to handle small boat crossings, saying: "The Reform plan fails at every single hurdle. And it's not just me who's saying that, it's people who are actually in the Royal Navy who are saying that. It's even people like Henry Bolton, the former head of UKIP, who's certainly no slouch on immigration."
Clash over Henry Bolton
Nana quipped: "Oh, what, the great Henry Bolton?" Jonathan replied: "I didn't say he was great, but he was in the army." Nana fired back: "There are many people in the army," prompting the two to clash.
The pair debated Farage's proposal to deploy the Navy to end migrant boat arrivals. Jonathan noted: "Nana, if you take the Royal Navy, the first thing about the Royal Navy is that they are not allowed to fire at unarmed civilians."
On-air argument
Nana returned: "They're not going to fire at anybody." As Jonathan remarked there would be no point in using the Navy, Nana pointed out: "Nobody's talking about using guns."
With hostilities growing, the pair erupted into a debate, talking over one another. Attempting to shut down the argument, Jonathan told Nana: "Let's stop…" which struck a nerve. Nana exclaimed: "I'm gonna stop you there, Jonathan! Jonathan, don't talk over me. Alright, I'll decide how this runs, not you."

Following the clash, viewers took to X in support of Nana. One remarked: "Jonathan is in the wrong job; he gets too condescending and hysterical, the GB News presenters are constantly having to rein him in when his temper gets the better of him."
