Five Italian divers have tragically lost their lives during an underwater cave expedition in the Maldives, marking one of the most serious diving accidents in the country's history. The group failed to resurface on Thursday after exploring caves at depths of 50 to 60 metres in the Vaavu Atoll, a region notorious for its strong currents and intricate underwater tunnel systems.
Rescue and Recovery Efforts
