The individual, who has not been named, was walking their pet in a wooded area near the village of Pimhill when they stumbled upon what authorities have confirmed are charred human remains.

West Mercia Police have cordoned off a significant area of the woodland, treating the scene as a potential crime scene. A full-scale forensic examination is now underway, with specialist officers and a forensic anthropologist called in to assist.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Bellamy confirmed the gravity of the find, stating, "We are in the very early stages of what is a complex and sensitive investigation.
