Covent Garden stabbing: Four men hurt, woman arrested

Four men were stabbed in Covent Garden on Wednesday afternoon, and a 47-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and assault, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Incident on Endell Street

The force said the four men, aged 34, 39, 42, and 52, were found with stab wounds on Endell Street. They were taken to a major trauma centre, but no further update has been given on the extent of their injuries.

The woman was taken into custody and remains there.

Ambulance response

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.”

“We treated four patients at the scene and took them all to a major trauma centre as a priority by road,” the spokesperson added.

Police initially reported three people had been stabbed, but later confirmed four were found with stab wounds.
