British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl at Harlow Town train station in Essex. The attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 18 February 2024, between 2.30am and 4.40am, when the teenager was sexually assaulted and raped in the station toilets.
The man in the footage was captured on CCTV at the station alone, wearing a black hoodie, white trainers, and ripped denim blue jeans. Police believe he may have information that could assist their investigation, which has been ongoing for a year.
Detectives are renewing their appeal for information, urging anyone who recognises the man or has any details to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2400021176.
