A four-year-old British boy has tragically died after falling into a swimming pool at a holiday home near the Costa del Sol. The incident occurred at a rural property in the village of Periana, part of Spain’s La Axarquia region, approximately 30 miles north-east of Malaga.
The alarm was raised around 8:30 a.m. local time. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene, and a helicopter was also mobilized as part of the emergency response. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
