Brit Tourist, 24, in ICU After Ibiza Hotel Plunge

A 24-year-old British holidaymaker is in intensive care after falling from a hotel in the popular party resort of San Antonio, Ibiza. The incident occurred around midnight, and the man was rushed to Can Misses hospital with multiple traumatic injuries.

Current Condition

Health sources confirmed that the tourist is stable but in a serious condition. One source stated: “He is in intensive care. He’s stable but serious. He has multiple traumatic injuries.” The exact circumstances of the fall remain unclear, and the Civil Guard has launched an investigation.

Investigation Underway

A source close to the probe commented: “It is too early at this stage to say what exactly happened. It is something police are still looking into.” The hotel where the incident took place has not been named, and details are limited.

Previous Incidents

This is believed to be the first such incident involving a British tourist in Ibiza this year. However, similar events occurred last summer. In August 2025, a 22-year-old British tourist was seriously injured after falling from the third floor of the Marco Polo Hotel in San Antonio. That hotel made headlines in June 2025 after a poolside brawl involving English footballer Kian Harratt.

San Antonio faced scrutiny last summer following several tourist deaths from hotel falls. On July 21, 2025, 19-year-old ice hockey star Gary Kelly from Dundee died after falling from a third-floor balcony at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, which the Civil Guard deemed an accident. Earlier, on July 7, 2025, Ewan Thomson, 26, from Aberdeen, also fell to his death at the same hotel. His sister Teila later said: “Once it did happen, the hotel’s response was just completely heartbreaking; almost as if it never happened.”

Authorities continue to investigate the latest incident, and updates are expected as more information becomes available.
