A Colombian porn actor who murdered a couple and stuffed their remains into suitcases has been jailed for 40 years and 264 days. Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, killed Paul Longworth, 71, and Albert Alfonso, 62, in their west London flat before dismembering them and transporting their bodies to Bristol.
Mosquera bludgeoned Longworth to death with a hammer on July 8, 2024, then slit Alfonso's throat during a filmed sex game. He later decapitated the victims, stored their heads in a freezer, and placed the rest of the remains in suitcases. Two days later, he took the suitcases to the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.
Bridge staff became suspicious when they noticed liquid leaking from one of the suitcases. Mosquera fled but was arrested at Bristol Temple Meads railway station. He initially told a passing cyclist the cases contained car parts.
Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC said the murders were pre-planned to steal from the victims. She described the killing of Alfonso as occurring during sexual activity, with Mosquera dancing naked as his victim bled out. The court heard the couple had previously taken Mosquera on a day out to Brighton.
Sentencing at Woolwich Crown Court, Mr Justice Bennathan called the crimes 'pre-meditated and thoroughly wicked'. Mosquera also pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.
