Two teenage boys were laughing and filming as they allegedly raped a terrified 15-year-old girl in an underpass in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, a court has heard. The trial at Southampton Crown Court involves three boys accused in connection with the rape of two girls in separate incidents in November 2024 and January 2025.
Prosecutor Jodie Mittel KC told the court that the first alleged attack occurred in November 2024, when the girl, then 15, had agreed to meet the first defendant after he sent her a friend request on Snapchat. She initially felt comfortable with him but became scared when the second defendant and another boy arrived, pressuring her and recording her while laughing.
The girl said she felt 'petrified' and agreed to a threesome only because she feared what might happen if she refused. The two defendants allegedly raped her in the underpass while the second defendant filmed, and she described feeling 'numb' and 'shaking' as the boys laughed and recorded the incident, which lasted around 90 minutes.
In the second incident in January 2025, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly threatened with a knife by the first defendant, who told her to leave her phone with an Airtag tracker in a shop before walking to a recreation ground and field. Video footage on the second defendant's phone showed the girl being raped by the first two defendants, the court heard.
The third defendant, now 14 but 13 at the time, faces two counts of rape by aiding and abetting the second defendant in the January incident. The first defendant also faces charges of taking indecent photos of the girl. The trial continues.
