Emergency services descended on a residential estate in Bolton in the early hours of the morning, with a house now taped off as police investigate a serious incident.
Officers are in attendance on Yewdale Avenue, in Breightmet, this morning (August 4). Forensics investigators have been seen gathering evidence from the area, and a cordon is in place while officers work at the scene.

It is understood that police first attended the property in the early hours, with a major presence visible shortly before 4am today.
