Body Found Off Brighton Beach Near Sisters' Death Site

A man's body was recovered from the sea off Brighton beach on Wednesday morning, near Sea Lanes in Madeira Drive. Emergency services were called to the scene around 6:40am after concerns were raised for a man in the water. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Ongoing Investigation

Sussex Police are working to identify the man and notify his next of kin. Inquiries are ongoing in the area.

Recent Incidents

This incident occurred less than a mile from where three sisters – Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters, and Rebecca Walters – were recovered from the sea on 13 May. Police have stated there was no third-party involvement in the deaths of the three sisters.
