Kacper Cichor, 28, from Braunstone, Leicester, was last seen on 21 July and reported missing the following day. He had visited Mansfield House police station in Leicester city centre that day to hand in property, and was later seen in Webster Road, near Braunstone Park, at around 2.30pm. Police released CCTV images showing him wearing a burgundy T-shirt, black jeans and grey sliders.
Body found
Leicestershire Police have confirmed that a body has been found in the course of the missing person investigation and believe it to be Mr Cichor. The force is not treating the death as suspicious. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
A police spokesperson said: "Police have confirmed that a body has been found as a result of a missing person investigation to find Kacper Cichor. Kacper, aged 28 and from Braunstone, was last seen on Tuesday 21 July and was reported missing the following day. The incident is not being treated as suspicious but officers believe that the person found is Kacper. His next of kin have been informed and we ask for privacy for his family and friends at this difficult time. Thank you to all the public who assisted in this investigation."

Social media users have expressed their sadness at the news. One person wrote: "Very sad news, was hoping he’d be found well. Went to primary school with Kacper." Another said: "This is not the news anyone wanted .. be free Kacper thinking of everyone that knows him."
