West Midlands Police have launched a public appeal for information following a vicious assault in the heart of Birmingham that left a man with significant facial injuries.

The disturbing incident, captured on the city's extensive CCTV network, occurred on Navigation Street at approximately 12:30 am on Sunday, 21st April. The footage shows a 25-year-old man being violently set upon by a group of three individuals.

The victim was reportedly approached and confronted by the group before the situation rapidly escalated into a physical attack. After the assault, the trio fled the scene on foot, heading towards the bustling Bullring area.

Appeal for Witnesses

Investigating officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the altercation or who has any information about the suspects to come forward immediately. Police are particularly interested in speaking to two men who were seen speaking with the victim just moments before the attack unfolded.
