Kaden Manuel Lewis Shrum is accused of nibbling the nine-day-old baby's cheek on July 14 at a home in Indiana, US, while he was looking after the newborn. Authorities allege Shrum, who weighs 113kg, followed the nibbling with repeated "chomping down" motions, according to FOX59.

Shrum was arrested and charged with felony battery with injury to a person under 14. Court documents show a pediatrician first alerted child protective services to the newborn's injuries on July 14, prompting an investigation by the Bloomington Police Department.
