A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a major overnight policing operation in Coity, Bridgend, after a 47-year-old woman died in hospital.
Officers responded to a call at around 12.43pm on Monday, October 19, following a report of a road traffic collision, in which a car had hit a wall in the Coity Road area.
South Wales Police confirmed that the 47-year-old woman sustained injuries unrelated to the collision and later died in hospital. Her family have been informed, but she has not been formally identified.
