A major road in Cambridgeshire has been closed in both directions following a serious collision involving two cars and a lorry.

The crash occurred on the A47 at South Brink in Wisbech shortly after 7am on Tuesday, May 21. Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, are at the scene.
Cambridgeshire Police have warned motorists that the road is expected to remain closed between Wisbech and Guyhirn Rings for most of the day. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 7.09am today with reports of a three-vehicle crash involving two cars and a lorry on the A47 at South Brink. Officers, firefighters, and paramedics are at the scene, and the road is currently closed between Wisbech and Guyhirn Rings, with motorists urged to avoid the area. The road is expected to be closed for most of the day."
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the collision to report it online quoting incident 72 of today. Those without internet access can call 101.
Traffic Disruption
In a social media post, officers confirmed the closure extends from the roundabout at Guyhirn to the roundabout for Cromwell Road in Wisbech. Motorists are advised to plan alternative journeys and allow extra travel time.
