Detectives are offering a £20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a student in north London. Finbar Sullivan, 21, died after being attacked in Primrose Hill on April 7.
Man Wanted for Questioning
Jordan Asije, 22, is urgently sought by police. He is believed to frequent north London. Authorities urge Asije to hand himself in and ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
Three men have already been charged with murder, and a fourth with grievous bodily harm, in connection with the incident. All have been remanded in custody.
Legal Proceedings
In June, Ernest Boateng, 25, Alexis Bidace, 25, and Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, pleaded not guilty to murder and manslaughter of Mr Sullivan and violent disorder. A further case management hearing is set for September 25, with a trial scheduled for April 5 next year.
Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, leading the investigation, said: "My thoughts remain with Finbar's family following their truly devastating loss. We have made significant progress in understanding the events that led to his tragic death and our enquiries continue."
Appeal for Information
Griffin added: "As part of this work, a reward of up to £20,000 is now being offered to encourage the public to help us arrest everyone we believe was involved in the murder. No piece of information is too small and what may appear insignificant to you, could prove vital to our enquiries."
He urged Asije to "do the right thing and hand yourself in at the nearest police station," warning that anyone assisting him may commit a criminal offence.
Police say Asije is not believed to pose a wider threat to the public, but advise people not to approach him. Anyone seeing him should call 999 immediately. Information can also be provided by calling 101 quoting CAD 6448/07APR26 or via the police major incident portal.
Victim Remembered
Emergency services were called to the viewpoint at 6.41pm on April 7 following reports of a fight. Mr Sullivan, known as Fin, was found with multiple stab wounds and died at the scene.
He was a filmmaking student at the London Screen Academy. His father, Christopher Sullivan, musician and founder of 1980s band Blue Rondo a la Turk, previously described losing his son as "the worst tragedy I could ever imagine."
