A 17-year-old boy has died after falling from a height at a shopping centre in Harrow, north-west London. The incident occurred at around 9am on Wednesday, 12 November, at St George's Shopping Centre.
Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London's Air Ambulance, attended the scene on St Kilda's Road. Despite extensive efforts to save the teenager, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the boy's family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. The death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious, and an investigation has been launched.
St George's Shopping Centre released a statement on Facebook, expressing their awareness of the incident and offering thoughts to the individual and their family. They stated they are working closely with authorities and will not provide further comment at this time.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 9.04am and dispatched multiple resources, including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. Despite their best efforts, the patient sadly died at the scene.
