12-Year-Old Missing in Glasgow, Police Appeal

Police Scotland has launched an urgent appeal to locate 12-year-old Serina Solberg, who went missing from Glasgow on Thursday, July 9. The schoolgirl was last seen at approximately 3pm on Dumbarton Road near the Kingsway flats in the Scotstoun area. She was reported missing the following day, Friday, July 10.

Description and Last Known Movements

Serina is described as around 4ft 11ins tall, of medium build, with long brown hair featuring blue tips. She was last seen wearing a black cardigan, blue-green leggings, and black trainers. According to police, Serina frequently travels to Glasgow city centre, prompting officers to focus their search there, particularly around the Four Corners area where Argyle Street and Jamaica Street meet, close to Central Station.

Growing Concerns for Welfare

Sergeant Robert Goldie expressed mounting worries for Serina's safety. “Concerns are growing for Serina’s welfare and we need to make sure she is safe and well,” he said. “Serina often goes to the city centre so we are asking people to keep an eye out for her, particularly around the Four Corners area.”

Public Appeal for Information

Police are urging anyone who has seen Serina or knows of her whereabouts to come forward immediately. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0626 of Friday, 10 July, 2026. The public is advised not to approach Serina but to report sightings to police.
