Ukraine has accused Russia of a 'sadistic' war crime after footage emerged appearing to show a Russian drone chasing a civilian through the streets of Kherson. The attack, which was shared by President Zelensky, has sparked outrage.
Drone attack caught on camera
The unverified footage shows a man sprinting between parked vehicles while being pursued by a drone. Moments later, the device exploded just metres away, injuring the 52-year-old victim, who was hospitalised with shrapnel wounds.
President Zelensky shared the footage, prompting officials in Kyiv to accuse Putin's regime of deliberately hunting civilians.
Officials respond
Police said in a statement: "This is how Russians fight. They deliberately hunt civilians." The incident is being treated as a potential war crime.
This is a breaking news story and more updates are expected.
